The FAQ will answer the most commonly asked questions as well as help to understand and resolve the errors/warnings displayed after file validation.
Data Management Portal (DMP) is a software platform designed to aid you in validating the agency file data and provide inputs on what data/info needs your attention.
DMP serves two purposes currently. You must create the new Virtuoso Data Footprint file to reflect all your changes related to Client, Booking, Vendor, Commission and Traveler as applicable.
Select the Upload History tab in the top navigation bar of the Data Management Portal and all of your upload history will display. This includes the list of:
In the Upload History tab, if the Status is showing "Complete",
Go to "Validation Results" page, it will display the latest file's data issues/warnings. If there are no errors/warnings, then it will display the message "Congratulations! Your file has been validated and contains no errors or warnings".
This is a critical error which has prevented your file from uploading. We will need to view the file you are attempting to upload to find the issue. Please contact us through help@virtuoso.com or call 817-870-0300 and ask for the Data Integration Team.

Please expand "Blank Keys" by clicking on the Down arrow icon (OR) by clicking "Expand all" at the top of the results. It will show the Tab in which there are rows without the key information. The row number and key column is provided for ease. For example, in the below screenshot it is saying that => The key column proid does not have any values in the rows 17 and 20 (in the ClientData tab)
Expand the error and you will see the Tab and the name of the column(s) that are missing. Depending on the member agency, some of these are not present because they do not have that data or do not want to share that info. Depending on your agency, you can identify if all the missing columns are as per your need and either include these columns with data (OR) discard this error.
When the data in the column is not in the expected format such as date or currency format, this error will display in your Validation Results.
To resolve find the Tab and Column in your file and you will be given the Unrecognized Value. Use Ctrl F, enter the unrecognized value and "Find All". When data is corrected, save the file and retry.
More than 1 row in the tab shares the same key (it is not unique). Keys must be unique but in this case, it is not and hence the data would have been discarded for these rows from processing. Please fix the duplicates and retry.
Expand the Error and you will see the Tab, Column(s) and the key that is duplicated. Use Ctrl F to Find ALL. Replace the duplicate with the correct information.
Some of the key information is not present but is being referenced in another place. Expand the error and you will see the tab in which the missing key is being referenced or used. In the below example, in the booking tab we have bookings with vendorid 312803 and 66819, but there is no vendor in the Vendor tab with VendorID as 312803 and 66819. To correct the error, if these VendorID exist, then update the Vendor tab to include the details for these VendorIDs. If these VendorID are wrong, then update the booking tab to reflect the correct VendorIDs on those bookings.
A truncation error occurs when you have exceeding the character limitation of a column.
Expand the Error to see the columns: Tab, Column, Row, Maximum Column Width Allowed, and Cell Data (what you have actually in the row) will be displayed. In the below example, the VendorType column in Vendor tab has the data "as of 8/20/02 Delta Queen Steamboat Company sold" instead of what the vendor type is like Air, Insurance etc. Please fix it and retry.
Your spreadsheet is missing this entire "tab/worksheet" of data. In the brackets [ ] they will tell you the tab not found. If your agency is not planning to share that data, then it is fine to discard. But if you do want to share that data, then please ensure that the tab is present along with the corresponding data. It could be a tab name misspelling to correct in some cases.

The Summary Information section contains a summary of changes made to records. It is a quick overview of how many clients were added or profiles updated for the listed advisor since the last Data Foot Print was uploaded.
